Issue #619 (PRNEWS.IO Review, JS Libs, AI Tools, JSON/DB)05/29/25
The following is a paid product review for PRNEWS.IO, an all-in-one online store for SEO-friendly sponsored content for publishers, digital marketers, and content creators.
As a publisher of online content, I'm always on the lookout for platforms that enable me to connect with content creators who want to share their products and services.
One such platform is the one I'm featuring this week, called PRNEWS.IO. PRNEWS.IO specializes in connecting content creators with do-follow publishing options for maximum SEO value.
This is a powerful platform for digital marketers looking to get their content in front of audiences in an SEO-friendly manner. This means no more cold emails to random news sites and blogs asking for backlinks. PRNEWS.IO provides an easy-to-use catalog of publications that are ready to put out your content.
PRNEWS.IO's marketplace of publications
The PRNEWS.IO catalog includes more than 100,000 publications that you can search or narrow down using a number of useful filters.
Filtering Publications
For example, let's say I'm a digital marketer looking to publish content with dofollow links (that is, links that will pass SEO rank) for a North American audience on a tech blog. I can select the necessary filters.
Using filters to search for publications on PRNEWS.IO
In the above example, I've specifically selected the following filters:
- North America (under "Region")
- English (under "Language")
- Technology (under "Category")
- Blog (under "Type")
- Dofollow Hyperlinks (under "Extra Features")
This narrows my search down to 88 publications, so there are lots to choose from in a variety of price ranges. There are 30+ regions available, along with 70+ languages, and 35+ categories. This means you should be able to find whatever will fill your marketing or PR needs.
Using Advanced Filters
Another valuable feature is the advanced filters section. This is accessed by clicking the small icon at the top-right of the catalog page (it's the icon with the two angle brackets <>). When you click that button, you'll be presented with a column view of your filtered results.
Advanced filters on PRNEWS.IO
There are a number of different filters you can use here, but one of the most popular ones is the Moz Domain Authority filter. This enables you to sort the results from highest to lowest in Domain Authority, which allows you to purchase dofollow links on news platforms that will offer you the most value.
Using Range Filters
For any of the advanced filters, you can click on the labels above the filter headings to enable range filtering.

With this you can choose a range for Domain Authority, Price, Social Traffic, or any of the filters available under the drop-downs at the top of the four columns.
Purchase Options for Publications
Once you have your narrowed-down list of publications, you can click on any publication to view details on making a purchase from that blog or news site.
On the individual publication page you'll see information such as:
- Conditions (e.g. with or without an ad label, how many images allowed, allowed text length, etc.)
- Whether sensitive topics are allowed
- Monthly visits and engagement
- Geographic info, including audience locations
You'll also see a number of different purchase options on each publication's page, as shown in the screenshot below:

In the example above, PRNEWS.IO offers extra services you can purchase such as driving further traffic to the post, some extra SEO-boosting options, different types of writing services, translation services, and more.
Applying as a Publisher
Of course, all of the above features are relevant if you're marketing the content to publish on other platforms so you can drive traffic and increase your SEO. But naturally, PRNEWS.IO allows any blog or news site to apply as a publisher. This enables you to sell sponsored content using PRNEWS.IO.

In summary, having a strong SEO strategy is difficult if you don't have the connections to market your content in a search-friendly manner. PRNEWS.IO is the perfect platform for agencies, marketers, or basically anyone looking to put their content in front of a large audience and maintain good search engine traffic in return.
You can sign up free for PRNEWS.IO and they also have a PRO account that includes extra features like the Bulk Site Checker, ability to export media lists in CSV format, blacklists, and more.

A Social Post for Thought
Is this opinion on starter templates valid? Those responding don't seem to think so, but we are early in the AI development era, so this could be more accurate in the coming months/years.

Before I Go...
Designer Lorenzo Bernini has put together the Fictional Brands Archive, which is a directory of brands that you'll see in TV series, films, and video games but that aren't real brands (e.g. ACME from the Road Runner cartoons or Dunder Mifflin, the company that serves as the basis for the U.S. version of The Office). The website is actually based on a Master's thesis that was also available as a print publication (but is currently out of stock).
